Exploring the use of Safe Delivery App for improving provision of care for maternal and newborns health in Dodoma, Tanzania

IHI will be implementing the Safe Delivery App (SDA) for skilled birth attendants at rural health facilities in Dodoma Region, Tanzania.  dannish-4SDA is an innovative mobile training tool that facilitates improved and more cost-effective training of skilled birth attendants aiming at improving quality and safe delivery. The SDA is a job aid that supports skilled birth attendants’ capability and confidence as it provides the necessary competences for a respectful, evidence-based basic emergency obstetric and neonatal care (BEmONC) for women in labor that adheres to global and national guidelines
