Senior Branch Administrator

Castro James Mrawa is a Senior Branch Administrator for Dar es Salaam Branch. He is an MBA (Corporate Management) graduate from Mzumbe University, with undergraduate degree in Economics. He Joined the Institute in 2011 as accounts officer – Planning & Budgeting, and since then he has gained experience of working in ensuring compliance in Institutional Administrative systems and monitoring their outputs. In his current position, Mr. Castro is responsible for overall supervision of the branch, coordination and monitoring responsibilities and well-functioning of service providing units at the branch. He has the responsibility of ensuring research activities in the branch are happening as planned, finance management, administration and human resources management. He is the custodian of all resources at the branch, ensuring adherence to all IHI policies and procedures. He is an active link, maintaining multi-level relationships within the institute and external stakeholders.
