Branch Manager – Ifakara Branch

Mr. Frederick Masanja is an MBA-IHM (Master of Business Administration in International Health Management) candidate – University of Basel and Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute of Basel Switzerland. He has a background in Law from the Open University of Tanzania. He joined the Institute in August 2011 as a Project Administrator for CONNECT Project. He was appointed as Branch Manager for Ifakara Branch in July 2012, a position that he holds up until now. He is an experienced administrator and manager, having worked for the Embassy of Switzerland/ Swiss Cooperation Office Tanzania for close to ten years between 2001 until 2010. He gained vast experience in diverse tasks as the Head of Administration. He possesses a high level of integrity with different stakeholders that he works with within and outside the institute. He supports administratively to the research activities at the branch to ensure smooth running of the IHI‘s Core business and also supports the Ifakara Cluster member institutions in coordinating different events.
