Winifrida Mponzi

Research Scientist

Ms. Winifrida Mponzi is a program officer with MSc in Entrepreneurship and Development from Mzumbe University. She also has a Bachelor degree in Production and Operations Management from Mzumbe University. She has extensive experience in managing businesses as she worked with FINCA Microfinance Bank as Client Relation Supervisor for 5 years. She also worked with Tanelec Ltd as quality assurance officer. She joined IHI as program officer for Business Development, Entrepreneurship and Partnerships. Currently she is supporting Mozzie Sandals project, the project which intend to Creating low-cost repellent-treated sandals for the prevention against outdoor mosquito biting for protection against Dengue, Zika, Chikungunya and Malaria.
