On May 11 2024, Ifakara Health Institute staff from the Ifakara branch office engaged in outdoor interactive activities aimed to strengthen teamwork among staff members while fostering a sense of community. The event took place at Udzungwa Msolwa village in Ifakara.

Organized by the Management Committee of the Institute, in collaboration with the Human Resource Office, the event provides an opportunity for everyone to engage with one another outside the confines of their regular work environments. A similar event was held last week on Friday, May 3, for the staff from Bagamoyo and Dar branch offices.

Facilitated by Moses Makwenzi, a soft skills consultant, the event is structured to include a variety of team-building activities designed to promote problem-solving, creativity, and mutual support among participants. From collaborative challenges to group discussions and recreational games and exercises, the day is organized to cater to the diverse interests of the IHI team.
