Position Summary Ifakara Health Institute seeks a qualified Lab Technician intern to work in Open Flexure Microscope project. The Lab Technician will be required to assist expert microscopists at Bagamoyo research laboratory in blood smear preparation for manual microscopy and digital microscope. The Intern will also be responsible in maintaining the digital microscope, digitizing and storing smear images in the long term storage server.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must hold a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences, knowledge in malaria microscopy by optical microscope and knowledge of the digital microscope building will be an added advantage.
