Job Description

Position Summary Ifakara Health Institute is seeking qualified and experienced Laboratory Technicians to join the Biomedical Research and Clinical Trials Department. The successful candidates will be based in participating health facilities where recruitment and follow-up visits for study participants will be conducted, performing a range of laboratory activities for the project. He/she will plan and supervise the collection of samples, ensure proper handling and processing of specimens, and conduct tests in accordance with SOPs, GCLP, and other relevant regulations. The role also involves maintaining laboratory equipment, participating in quality control programs, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards.
