Job Description

Position Summary Ifakara Health Institute is seeking a qualified Field Worker to be based at the Bagamoyo Branch to support the implementation of the DYNAMIA Study. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting field-based research activities, including participant recruitment, follow-up, data collection, and community engagement, while ensuring strict adherence to study protocols and ethical standards. The Field Worker will be responsible for conducting follow-up visits with study participants within the community to assess their wellbeing after administration of investigational products. This includes accurate and complete documentation of adverse events in electronic case report forms during home visits, ensuring compliance with study requirements, and supporting participant reimbursement processes as outlined in the study protocol.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of a Secondary School education. Experience working in a research environment is required. Experience in blood sample collection and working with infants will be considered an added advantage.
