St. Francis University College of Health and Allied Sciences (SFUCHAS) and Ifakara Health Institutes (IHI) are excited to announce their upcoming joint conference, aimed at promoting transdisciplinary collaborations and innovative solutions to tackle pressing health challenges in Tanzania. 

The conference, scheduled for May 30 and May 31, 2024, in Ifakara, Tanzania, under the theme "Harnessing Transdisciplinary Collaborations and Innovations Towards a Healthier Tanzania," invites researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and community stakeholders to contribute abstracts covering a broad spectrum of topics.

Sub-themes include health promotion and disease prevention, quality healthcare, vaccine and drug development, digital health and artificial intelligence, implementation sciences and health system strengthening, and planetary health.

The abstract submission window is now open. Submissions should adhere to a structured format, encompassing background, methodology, results, and conclusion.

The deadline for submission is May 15, 2024, at 11:59 EAT.

Call for registration
Interested participants are invited to register for the joint SFUCHAS, Ifakara conference to secure their attendance. The registration fees will contribute towards covering conference expenses, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
