The Ifakara Health Institute extends warm Easter wishes to all our esteemed partners and stakeholders within the public health sector and beyond. Easter holds profound significance in Christianity as it commemorates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, occurring three days after his crucifixion over 2000 years ago.

Easter represents the culmination of the brief yet sacred period leading up to Jesus's death, which is preceded by Lent (or Great Lent) - a 40-day period characterized by fasting, prayer, and penance.

Please be advised that in observance of the holiday, the Institute's offices will remain closed during the holiday and will reopen on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024.
