PARTNERSHIP: Ifakara, Ardhi University discuss MoU implementation
The Ifakara Health Institute Chief Executive, Dr. Honorati Masanja, engaged in a productive discussion with Prof. Ally Namangaya from Ardhi University at a meeting held at the former’s Dar es Salaam Office on Friday, September 6, 2024.
The purpose of the meeting was to review and advance the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in 2022, which outlines a collaborative framework between Ifakara Health Institute and Ardhi University.
The MoU is centered around fostering a robust partnership aimed at enhancing scientific and operational research, as well as capacity building. Dr. Masanja was joined by Ibrahim Msuya, a research scientist at Ifakara, who contributed valuable insights into the ongoing and future research initiatives under the MoU.
Prof. Namangaya’s visit highlighted a commitment to strengthening the relationship between the two institutions. The discussions focused on aligning their joint research priorities, evaluating the progress of current projects, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
Both parties emphasized the importance of leveraging their combined expertise and resources to address pressing health and environmental challenges.
