The Ifakara Health Institute is honored to be featured in the United Nations Foundation’s multimedia series, Next Chapter of Progress: African-Driven Innovation to Beat Malaria, as part of the United to Beat Malaria campaign. This interactive tour showcases over 50 innovative partnerships across Africa that are making significant strides in the fight against malaria, including initiatives involving our organization.

In collaboration with the RBM Partnership to End Malaria, this interactive map highlights an unprecedented wave of innovation and collaboration between local and global partners in recent years. Groundbreaking advancements such as new vaccines, next-generation bed nets, and novel treatment strategies are reaching millions across the continent. Notably, much of the infrastructure supporting these innovations is being developed sustainably in Africa, encompassing research, development, manufacturing, and local delivery.
