HOLIDAY SEASON: Let’s go recharge and come back fresh!
As the year winds down, the Ifakara Health Institute will be taking a break to celebrate the end-of-the-year and start-of-the-year holidays. This is done for our staff and collaborators to recharge and come back fresh for the year ahead!
The holiday season, spanning the end of one year and the beginning of the next, is a time filled with joy, reflection, and renewal. It kicks off with festive celebrations particularly Christmas, where families gather, exchange gifts, and create lasting memories. Streets shimmer with lights, homes radiate warmth, and communities come together in a spirit of giving.
Time for personal reflections, setting/refreshing goals
As the year draws to a close, New Year's Eve marks a global celebration of hope and new beginnings. Fireworks illuminate the night skies, symbolizing a fresh start. It’s a time for personal reflection—cherishing past achievements and setting new goals.
The season also offers a well-deserved break from routine, inviting relaxation, travel, or simply unwinding at home. Ultimately, the holiday season reminds us of the importance of connection, gratitude, and embracing new possibilities as we step into the future with renewed enthusiasm.
Our offices will be closed during this time!
Our offices will remain closed for the duration of this season – December 21, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Normal operations will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025.
