St. Francis University College of Health and Allied Sciences (SFUCHAS), in collaboration with the Ifakara Cluster – including Ifakara Health Institute, SolidarMed, Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital, St. Francis Regional Referral Hospital, and Edgar Marata College – will jointly host the 4th Annual Scientific Conference under the theme: "Strengthening Resilient and Equitable Healthcare Systems for Better Health Outcomes."

Scheduled for June 25–26, 2025, in Ifakara, Tanzania, this conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and community stakeholders to discuss innovative solutions to pressing healthcare challenges.

Conference focus, objectives
This important gathering aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing on strategies to enhance healthcare resilience and equity. Discussions will cover healthcare policies, equitable health service delivery, human resources for health, digital health, leadership and governance, and health financing, among other key topics. The goal is to drive impactful solutions that can shape the future of healthcare systems in Tanzania and beyond.

Call for abstracts
As part of the conference, SFUCHAS and Ifakara Cluster invite researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and community stakeholders to submit abstracts addressing key healthcare challenges. Submissions can be for oral or poster presentations, with the deadline set for May 1, 2025 (midnight).
