Assistant Nursing Officer (1 Post) - RVF DDVax, Bagamoyo

The Assistant Nursing Officer will play a key role in providing research nursing services, day-to-day planning, and execution of clinical study activities.

Position Summary
Ifakara Health Institute seeks a qualified and experienced Assistant Nursing Officer within the RVF DDVax project who will be responsible for participating and contributing in the design of data collection tools such as source documents and case report forms. The Nursing Officer will also assist senior study nurses in developing workflow, procedures and duty roster during clinical trial implementation, give counsel to volunteers with respect to medical conditions and provide appropriate guidance related to research activities, collect and document data as defined in the study protocols. 

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, with proven experience in working in facility settings. Also, the applicant must be enrolled and allowed to practice as EN by the TNMC.
