Ms. Sarah Mswata Senyoni is the Laboratory Manager at IHI Bagamoyo branch, heading the GCLP accredited laboratory sections of Haematology, Clinical Chemistry, parasitology, Microbiology, immunology and molecular biology and Genomics. She has extensive experience on Medical Research in the fields of infectious diseases COVID- 19, Malaria, Tuberculosis and Research Lab Management with IHI since 2009.

Sarah has a background education in molecular Biology and Biotechnology for undergraduate degree and Msc. In Applied Microbiology both awarded from University of Dar es Salaam

She is professionally trained in lab supervision and management, Clinical trials monitoring as a CRA, Implementation and Internal audit of ISO 15189:2022 for medical Lab and ISO 9001 of quality management Systems and Internal audit and successfully participated and achieved accreditation award of ISO 15189; 2012 for IHI Bagamoyo Lab in 2017 and GCLP accreditation award in 2024.

Apart from being a lab Manager; she is also passionate in research and has embarked on different projects of Biomedical research, implementation research and Clinical trials in areas of Malaria, Anemia, Tuberculosis and COVID-19.
