AWARD: Ifakara earns top recognition from TRA
On December 1st 2023, Ifakara Health Institute was awarded with a Certificate of Merit in the Large Taxpayer Category, recognizing the organization's outstanding tax compliance during the 2022/23 financial year.
As part of its annual tradition, the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) acknowledged the significant contributions of taxpayers. Ifakara proudly secured the position of the second-highest contributor in Morogoro, with Mzumbe University claiming the top spot.
The prestigious award was presented on Taxpayer's Appreciation Day 2023 by the Morogoro Regional Commissioner. The honor was graciously received by IHI's Finance Manager, Mariam Karama, and Payroll Master, Antony Mtavangu, both of whom represented the institution with pride at the ceremony.
This recognition stands as a testament to IHI's unwavering commitment to compliance and its dedicated contribution to the progress of the Morogoro region and the nation.
