REVIEW: Ifakara assesses its quality management system
Ifakara Health Institute managers, head of units, departmental leaders and other internal stakeholders met in Bagamoyo today for day-long deliberations to evaluate the performance of its quality management system (QMS) in compliance with the ISO 9001: 2015 standard.
Officially opened by the Acting Chief Executive Director, Dr. Ally Olotu, and chaired by the Chief Operating Officer Raphael Laizer, kicked off with the awareness and induction session for the participants to refresh their knowledge and understanding of the Institute’s QMS.
Since 2018, Ifakara Health Institute was certified as compliant to the ISO 9001: 2015 standard. The Swiss Accreditation body, SGS SA, granted the ISO certificate for the provision of health and research services.
