Ifakara Health Institute today proudly acknowledges and celebrates the remarkable contributions of Ifakara women on this International Women’s Day (IWD), recognizing their invaluable role inspiring positive change. 

This year, The IWD campaign theme is: #InspireInclusion. This theme for this year is “Inspire Inclusion” which means to celebrate diversity and empowerment in all aspects of society. Learn more about the IWD 2024 campaign here.

This is how Dar ladies marked their day 

In collaboration with the HR office, Ifakara Management organized a short cake-cutting ceremony at the main conference room of the Dar es Salaam Branch. The Chief Executive Director spoke about Ifakara's commitment to inclusion, encouraging all staff to practice it at work and beyond. 

Afterward, a few women gathered for an intimate discussion on various topics related to womanhood and career development. This event also provided a chance for senior staff to share their wisdom with junior colleagues.
