Dr. Nahya, the Director of Research, Publications, and Innovation at our partner, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), is committed to improving newborn health in Tanzania. Her work with NEST360 focuses on implementing affordable technologies, training clinicians, and enhancing data management for quality newborn care.

More about The Lancet

The Lancet runs “Discovery Science” – a suite of open access journals that spans basic, translational, clinical, and health systems research. These journals publish essential, early evidence that helps researchers and clinicians alike to identify new opportunities with the potential to improve the health and wellbeing of people around the world.

The platform publishes essential — high-quality research that has the potential for clinical importance; early-stage, clinically-relevant research that poses promising, interesting questions that could lead to important answers; and evidence — preliminary findings or novel results grounded by their relevance to human health.

The Lancet has evolved as a family of journals, but retains at its core the belief that medicine must serve society, that knowledge must transform society, and above all – the best science must lead to better lives.
