VISIT: Ifakara welcomes experts from top U.S research institutions
On 29 August 2024, Ifakara Health Institute hosted Dr. Amy Morrison from the University of California, Davis (UC Davis), and Audrey Lenhant, Head of Entomology at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, at its Bagamoyo laboratories in Kingani. The visit provided an opportunity for these distinguished guests to explore Ifakara’s cutting-edge research and facilities.
Dr. Morrison, with her extensive background in epidemiology, and Ms. Lenhant, a leader in entomology, engaged with Ifakara’s research teams, observing cutting-edge projects and discussing future collaborations.
