FORUM: Ifakara joins WHO and govt at Global Evidence Summit in Europe

Tanzania was represented at the 2024 Global Evidence Summit in Prague, Czech Republic, from September 10-13, by Dr. Getrud Mollel of the Ifakara Health Institute, Dr. Fedjo Galbert from the World Health Organization, and Simon Ernest and Dr. Chrisogone German from the Ministry of Health.

On September 9th, Ifakara participated in a pre-conference meeting organized by the Quality Assurance, Norms, and Standards Department of the WHO. The meeting focused on sharing experiences regarding guideline development and adaptation processes in the countries and promoting a shift towards systematic adaptation and implementation at the country level.

Ifakara is proud and honored to have been invited by the WHO to attend this critical summit. On the significance of Ifakara’s presence at the summit, Dr Getrud participated in the presentation of Tanzanian’s experience in the guideline development process.
