On December 3 2024, staff from Ifakara Health Institute joined in paying their last respects to the late Dr. Faustine Ndugulile, the WHO Africa Regional Director-elect, who passed away on November 27, 2024, in India while undergoing treatment.

Dr. Ndugulile will be laid to rest today, December 3, 2024, in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam – his home constituency where he served as a Member of the National Assembly for over a decade.
