On 21st November 2025, members of the Ifakara Health Institute Dar es Salaam Branch Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCOS) gathered at Mbezi Garden Hotel for their 3rd Annual General Meeting, marking another milestone in the cooperative’s journey of growth and transparency.

The meeting provided an opportunity for members, all of whom are Ifakara staff, to review the previous AGM minutes, introduce new and outgoing members, and receive a report from the chairperson on key achievements and ongoing initiatives. Financial accountability was addressed through implementation reports and externally audited statements, while the Management Committee shared updates on operational progress. Members also approved the external auditor for the coming year.

The AGM highlighted the importance of the SACCOS in promoting financial empowerment, transparency, and collective decision-making, reinforcing its role in supporting members’ financial well-being and the broader mission of the Ifakara Health Institute.
