Position Summary
Ifakara seeks a qualified Research Officer to fill an internship position. The intern will work closely with the rabies project staff and will be supporting, managing, and overseeing rabies surveillance activities, including contact tracing, integrated bite case management (IBCM) implementation with other stakeholders, data cleaning and analysis, and liaising with government stakeholders in planning and implementing rabies control activities.  

Qualification and Experience
Applicants must have a BVM or BSC degree in either Biology, Laboratory Science, Ecology, Zoology/Wildlife etc or data related discipline from a reputable institute and a minimum of 1-year research experience.
