Senior Communication and Engagement Officer (1 post) - Transmission Zero

The role involves developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote awareness to and reaction from the public on the Transmission Zero Program.

Position Summary

Ifakara Health Institute is seeking a Senior Communication and Engagement Officer who will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and supporting the implementation of the project's communication strategy and related activities organized across online and offline channels in alignment with the project’s priorities, corporate communications, and country needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, international relations and development, or a related field with equivalent qualifications. A master’s degree is preferred. Essential skills involve social media, content creation, and Microsoft Office proficiency, alongside at least 5 years of experience in a related role, preferably within public health.
