Ifakara Health Institute is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to fill the Clinical Officer position within the PMI Shinda (DEFEAT) Malaria project. This position is for a 6-month Therapeutic Efficacy Study (TES), an antimalarial drug efficacy and safety study scheduled to take place in Ngara District Council.
The role entails coordinating clinical activities, overseeing site administration, managing data collection, ensuring adherence to consent procedures, preparing study materials, leading meetings, compiling bi-weekly reports for the TES PI, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess a diploma in clinical medicine, a valid GCP training certificate, a valid practising license, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research, particularly in antimalarial therapeutic efficacy studies.
