Position Summary

Ifakara Health Institute seeks a Senior Finance Manager who will play a pivotal role in steering the financial direction of the organisation, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and sustainable growth while ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have a degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification, and should hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or ACCA qualification. A master’s degree in finance or a relevant field is preferred. Requirements include at least 10 years of experience in financial management, specifically within the nonprofit sector or organizations dealing with donor-funded projects, with a minimum of five years in a management role. Candidates should also have experience in navigating complex compliance issues associated with donor-funded projects.
