The Lab Technologist will engaged in performing laboratory testing required for the management of patients with HIV and or TB including co-morbidities.

Position Summary
Ifakara Health Institute seeks a qualified and experienced Laboratory Technologist. The Lab Technologist will work under the directive of the Laboratory Manager and will be engaged in performing laboratory testing required for the management of patients with HIV and or TB including co-morbidities. The role also involves delivering improved services in collaboration with the hospital, governmental authorities, and collaborating with the existing research platform of the Kilombero and Ulanga Antiretroviral Cohort (KIULARCO) in Ifakara.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have a degree in Medical Laboratory, Zoology, or related field with experience working with HIV/TB patients.
