This role supports program leadership by ensuring effective design, implementation, and monitoring of clinical quality, evidence-based interventions, and health system strengthening.

Position Summary
Ifakara Health Institute is seeking an experienced Clinical Advisor to provide clinical and technical oversight for maternal and newborn health programs, ensuring high-quality implementation of Level 2 newborn care services.

Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a specialization in paediatrics and child health (MMed in paediatrics, neonatology, or equivalent). They should have 3–5 years of clinical experience in specialized paediatrics and/or newborn care, along with demonstrated experience supporting large-scale maternal and newborn health (MNH) programs in LMIC settings, preferably in Tanzania."
