Dr. Grace Wynn Mwangoka has been a Senior Research Scientist since 2015, serving as a Thematic Group Leader for the Biomedical Thematic Group from December 2014 to 2016. Dr. Mwangoka also held the position of Head of IHI Laboratories from January 2013 to July 2014, and she served as the IHI-Bagamoyo Branch Site Scientific Advisor from July 2012 to 2014.

Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in International Health from Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich, a Master's of Veterinary Medicine in Molecular Epidemiology from Sokoine University of Agriculture, and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from the same institution. Her dedication and expertise have earned her an Adjunct Professorship with NM-AIST, Arusha, starting from August 2019.
