Sosthenes (Sos) is an accomplished health informatics, program design and management expert with a wealth of experience in technical leadership, data management, analysis, and capacity building. Over the course of his career, he has worked with a range of national and international organizations, providing invaluable support in designing, developing, planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring projects.

Sos has held a range of positions including Head of Statistics and Data Management at the Ifakara Health Institute, Tanzania; Biostatistician at the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, Baltimore, USA; Health Informatics Technical Advisor at FHI360, Washington DC, USA; and Consultant (Project Technical Lead) at the Health Nutrition & Population Group, World Bank, Washington DC, USA; and Deputy Director of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, APHFTA, Tanzania. 

Sos holds a master’s degree in Biostatistics from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
