Kilongi Kayera is a dedicated ICT Solution Architect driven by a passion for technological innovation and a commitment to addressing local challenges. With a specialization in digital transformation, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of local contexts to every project. 

Currently serving as the Deputy ICT Manager at Ifakara Health Institute since 2019, Kilongi plays a pivotal role in spearheading digital transformation initiatives and identifying ICT solutions tailored to the institute's needs. His responsibilities include managing the institute's data center, ensuring efficient and effective utilization of ICT resources.

Prior to his current role, Kilongi served as the Infrastructure Manager at Tanzania Education and Research Network (TERNET) from 2016 to 2019. During this time, he was instrumental in designing and implementing ICT solutions that empowered educational and research institutions to harness the full potential of ICT. His contributions included the creation of modern interactive websites, student information systems, library information systems, as well as providing fast and reliable internet services to member institutions.

Kilongi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hardware and Networking from Mahatma Gandhi University, his expertise lies in designing and project-managing ICT solutions that are user-centric and address specific organizational needs, thereby driving efficiency and innovation. With a keen understanding of local challenges and a commitment to leveraging technology for social good, Kilongi continues to make significant contributions to the digital landscape in Tanzania.
