Donat Shamba is a senior research scientist and a public health researcher at Ifakara Health Institute (IHI), Tanzania. He has over 15 years of experience in health systems research, specifically on maternal, newborn, and child health, family planning, HIV/AIDS, mental health, malaria studies, and the development of health system strategies for intervention delivery. He has practical experience in implementing low-cost interventions to sustainably implement evidence-based solutions for strengthening the health system and delivering equitable and quality care.
