Research Officer

Jilly Mseti is a dedicated professional at the forefront of public health research. Armed with a Master of Science in Public Health Research from the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology, Jilly brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as a Research Officer at the Vector Control Product Testing Unit (VCPTU) in Bagamoyo, part of the esteemed Ifakara Health Institute (IHI).

In her current position, Jilly's primary responsibility is to coordinate various projects, ensuring their alignment with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards. Her meticulous approach guarantees that each phase of the studies is conducted according to agreed protocols, resulting in the production of high-quality data and reports within specified timelines.

Jilly's work focuses on the testing and evaluation of vector control products, including Insecticide-Treated Nets (ITNs), Attractive Toxic Sugar Baits (ATSBs), and Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS). Through her contributions to these projects, Jilly plays a vital role in advancing the understanding and effectiveness of interventions aimed at combating vector-borne diseases.
