Jonael is an accomplished professional driver at the Ifakara Health Institute, serving within the Transport Unit with a wealth of experience in automotive engineering and transportation services.

His journey in the transport industry began in 1990 when he enrolled at the National Institute of Transport (NIT), where he pursued his studies until 1993. After completing his studies, Jonael gained practical experience working at Africareals in 1993-1994 after which in 1995, he ventured into self-employment as a Taxi driver.

In 2005, Jonael transitioned to his current role at IHI, where he has been a pivotal member of the Transport Unit for over a decade. Throughout his tenure, he has played a significant role in supporting IHI's mission by providing essential transport services for diverse projects across Tanzania.

Notably, Jonael has witnessed the growth of individuals within the academic community, having driven many who were once students and now are esteemed professors at the institute—a reflection of his commitment to his profession.
