Martha Mugini Kiiya is a dedicated nurse with a Diploma in Nursing from Massana College of Nursing. She specializes in vaccination and research, bringing extensive experience and expertise to her roles.
Martha began her healthcare journey by excelling academically, earning recognition as the Best Nursing Student in Practical at Massana College of Nursing in 2014. Prior to her nursing education, she volunteered at Nyarero Hospital Tarime, showcasing her commitment to service.
During her tenure at the Ifakara Health Institute (IHI) from 2016 to 2020, Martha contributed significantly to various clinical trials focused on tuberculosis treatment and dietary iron absorption. Her versatility and adaptability in diverse healthcare settings were evident throughout her time at IHI.
Since August 2023, Martha has served as a Vaccinator Nurse at IHI-BimVaC01, administering vaccinations and contributing to program monitoring and evaluation. Her dedication to public health and her ability to make a meaningful impact in the field are commendable.
Martha's leadership qualities are evident from her role as a Hostel Leader and her recognition with a Pre-Nursing Certificate in 2012. She actively engages in community outreach programs and finds solace in reading gospel literature.
