Mugisha Charles Nazir is a dedicated Study Nurse at the Ifakara Health Institute based in Dar es Salaam. With a strong background in nursing and a passion for research, Mugisha actively participates in ongoing studies, notably the BiMVaC01 trial.

His professional journey includes six years of experience as an Assistant Nursing Officer at Kairuki Hospital and Saifee Hospital. During this time, he served in both the in-patient department and the Emergency department, taking on responsibilities as Nurse Incharge from 2017 to 2023.

Mugisha holds an Ordinary Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from Kairuki University of Health and Allied Sciences (HKMU). Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics (BSc FND), reflecting his commitment to expanding his knowledge and expertise in healthcare.

In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Mugisha is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS), demonstrating his readiness to handle critical medical situations with competence and skill.

He is a registered member of the Tanzanian Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).
