Jossam Katanga is a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist at the Ifakara Health Institute, having joined the organization in January 2025. With over seven years of experience in MEAL, Jossam previously worked at VSO Tanzania, holding roles such as Labour Market and Skills Analyst (2017), Project Management and M&E Support (2018), MEL Officer (2019–2021), and MEAL Specialist (2021–2024).

He holds a master's degree in Project Management and specializes in participatory approaches that empower communities, partners, and stakeholders. Jossam's expertise includes strengthening M&E systems, integrating data reporting and visualization tools, and knowledge management to support data-driven decision-making and accountability. Passionate about inclusive development, he is dedicated to fostering impactful and sustainable solutions through collaboration and innovation.
