Naomi Masanja is a Research Scientist at Ifakara Health Institute, where she has contributed to public health research and initiatives since 2021. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Dar es Salaam.

Her work spans digital health, Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI), child health, pneumonia, antibiotic use, and pathways to care. She is particularly interested in implementation science and its potential to bridge the gap between research and real-world practice—transforming evidence into practical, sustainable, and equitable health solutions.

Naomi’s responsibilities include project management, data collection and analysis, scientific reporting, and translating research findings for diverse audiences. She enjoys collaborating with researchers, healthcare professionals, communities, and other stakeholders to better understand complex health challenges and develop solutions that respond to local needs.
