Ms. Hadija Njambi Mlege is a Certified Public Accountant who technically supports financial operations of the Institute as Revenue Accountant since 2019. She has over 15 years of experience in handling project and corporate finance. Before July 2019, she served as Project Accountant and Deputy Leader of the Project Accountants Section at IHI.

Ms. Mlege joined IHI in November 2007 where she served as Branch Accountant cum Administrator. She acquired an Advance Diploma in Accountancy from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) in 2001. She then worked with Celtel Tanzania Limited as Accounts Officer up to Jan 2006 when she was promoted as Finance and Administration Manager. In 2017, the National Board of Accounts and Auditors of Tanzania granted her a professional award of Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Ms. Mlege has attended several grants management courses. She has been trained to manage and audit European Commission funded grants under Horizon 2020 (H2020) program. After joining IHI in 2007, her first post was Branch Accountant cum Administrator for Bagamoyo Branch where she served for three years before she was moved to the Dar es Salaam office.

Before assuming her current roles, she worked as Project Accountant where she managed grants from various funding partners, including; COMIC Relief, USAID and CDC, EU and EDCTP, BMGF, and PATH.

As Revenue Accountant, the position she assumed in July 2019, Ms. Mlege leads the IHI Finalization of Accounts Section. She also supports Administration and Project Management.#
